Zfolio, founded by industry leaders Dan Rissin and Peter Howard, makes it easy for asset managers, banks and asset owners to calculate, understand, and disclose the emissions resulting from investments and loan portfolios. The most extensive data in the industry delivers unmatched portfolio coverage and data quality consistent with the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) standard. The platform also includes cutting-edge insights such as emissions benchmarking and emissions change attribution.
This strategic partnership enables Climate Finance Advisors to offer quantitative analysis and recommendations to financial institutions as they progress through their net-zero roadmaps. The collaboration with Zfolio’s platform will complement its Sustainable Finance and Sustainable Investing segments.
Appointments and Team Expansion
The firm has previously announced the appointment of Andrea Kilibarda as Principal, Head of Client Delivery and Impact. In her role, Andrea is responsible for the delivery of climate finance advisory services for financial institutions including Banks, Credit Unions, Asset Owners, Asset Managers and Insurance entities as well as Multilateral Development Banks and Governments both domestically and internationally. Andrea brings extensive experience from her leadership role in the build out of the sustainable finance practice at a Canadian financial institution. Collaborating with large private and public organizations, she has crafted several innovative sustainable finance products, such as the first Blue Loan and the first syndicated Social Loan in Canada. Andrea also participated in IPO and M&A advisory mandates where she integrated sustainability into the transactions. Further, she supported a number of organizations with their ESG and impact reporting requirements across various frameworks including ISSB, SASB, GRI, TCFD, CDP, and others. Her technical expertise extends into emerging sustainable finance areas such as carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and transition finance.
.Climate Finance Advisors further welcomes Ben Traugott as a Sustainable Finance Analyst. He will support the firm with the delivery of client mandates through technical due diligence and research, quantitative analysis, product structuring, qualitative idea generation and execution. A recent graduate from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire with a double-major in Environmental Sciences and Economics, Ben brings strong leadership capabilities as a former Head Prefect of a leading Canadian boarding school. During his undergraduate studies he produced independent research analyzing the viability of multi-jurisdictional carbon pricing policies, and the human capital loss associated with the effects of climate change. Ben possesses a strong foundation in research and data science and a passion for advancing climate finance solutions.
